Privacy Policy
LocalCMS is an internal content management and operations workspace used by authorized organization administrators. This policy describes how LocalCMS handles information when administrators use the application, including connected services such as QuickBooks Online.
Information We Collect
LocalCMS may store information entered or connected by authorized administrators, including:
- Administrator account details such as username, role, permissions, and session activity.
- Organization records, contacts, campaign records, financial planning records, and operational workspace data.
- Connected service data authorized by administrators, such as QuickBooks Online Profit and Loss report snapshots.
- Technical information needed to operate the application, including logs, timestamps, and audit activity.
QuickBooks Data
When QuickBooks Online is connected, LocalCMS requests accounting access so authorized administrators can retrieve Profit and Loss report data for planning and actuals review. QuickBooks access and refresh tokens are encrypted before being stored. LocalCMS stores report snapshots so administrators can review fiscal-year financial actuals.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide the application, support administrator workflows, maintain audit logs, troubleshoot issues, and generate internal reports.
Sharing
LocalCMS does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers or connected platforms needed to operate requested features, comply with law, protect the service, or fulfill organization-approved workflows.
Data Security
LocalCMS uses access controls, session protection, database permissions, audit logging, and encrypted storage for sensitive QuickBooks tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security, so administrators should use strong passwords, limit access to authorized users, and promptly remove access for users who no longer need it.
Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as needed for organization operations, reporting, compliance, backup, and audit purposes. Authorized administrators may update or remove records according to the application's available controls and the organization's retention requirements.
